PSch Structure
The twisting of wires is right. The direction of twisting of separate wire strands and bundles is opposite to the direction of wire twisting. The direction of twisting of an exterior lay is left-hand. Wires are delivered annealed and without oxidation.
PSch Technical Characteristics
- The climatic performance of wires is W, category of arrangement 2 according to GOST 15150-69.
- Wires are resistant to changes of an operating ambient temperature from -60°С to +230°С
- Wires are resistant to the action of air pressure from 133·10-4 kPa to 294 kPa
- Wires are resistant to the action of dew, hoarfrost, rain, sea fog, solar radiation, sand, mould fungi
- Wires are resistant to the action of vibrational loads, linear acceleration, repeated impacts
- The electrical resistance of PSch wires of 4.0 mm2 to a DC, recalculated for 1 km long and a temperature of 20°С, does not exceed 5.0 Ohm within the period of acceptance and delivery
- The electrical resistance of PSch wires of 4.0 mm2 to a DC, recalculated for a length of 1 km and a temperature of 20°С, does not exceed 6.0 Ohm within the period of exploitation and storage
- The breaking strength of PSch wire of 4.0 mm2 is not less than 718.7 N
- The minimum lifelength of PSch wire of 4.0 mm2 is 10000 hours, if climatic parameters are normal; at elevated temperatures:
up to 100°С, is 5000 h
up to 125°С, is 1000 h
up to 150°С, is 300 h
up to 200°С, is 200 h
up to 230°С, is 230 h
- A lifetime of wires is not less than 15 years
Structure of PSch Braided
The wires are regularly twisted. The direction of twisting of separate wire strands and bundles is opposite to the direction of wire twisting. The direction of twisting of an exterior lay is left-hand. They are in a copper braided screen. The braid must fit a core densely and not move relative to it.

Braids for the climatic performance N must be made of a copper wire tinned with the solder POS-40, and braids for the climatic performance Т must be made of a copper wire tinned with stannum.
Technical Characteristics
- The climatic performance of wires is U and Т, category of arrangement 2 in accordance with GOST 15150-69.
- Braids are delivered by segments not less than 2.5 m long
- A guaranty service life of braid is 1 year from the date of putting into operation.
