1. Designation

Installation wire is designed for power line (rated voltage 380, 660 and 3000 V and 50 Hz frequency)connection of submersible electric motors long-working in artesian well waters under the pressure of:

- up to 70 MPa at ambient temperature from -40°С to +65°С (ВПВ model) and from -40°С to +80°С (ВПП model);

- not higher than 150 MPaat ambient temperature from -40°С to +80°С (ВППУmodel)

Wire models and their definitions shall correspond to the details given in the table below:

Model Definition
VPP polyethylene insulated, in polyethylene sheath for the voltage of 380 and 660 V;
VPPU the same, for the voltage of 3000 V, with thickened insulation (only 25 and 35 mm² conductor areas);
VPV polyethylene insulated, in PVC sheath for the voltage of 380 and 660 V.

2. Construction

CONDUCTOR: copper, stranded.

INSULATION: polyethylene

SHEATH: polyethylene(VPP, VPPU), PVC (VPV).

Manufacturing of ВПП and ВППУ models in single-layer insulating sheath of light-stabilized polyethylene is allowed.

NUMBER OF CONDUCTORS:1

CONDUCTORAREA, mm²:1.2; 1.5; 2.0;2.5;3;4;5;6;8;10;16; 25;35; 50;70;95.

3. Technical specifications

Wires shall be resistant to the effect of high atmospheric pressure:

- for VPP, VPV models - 70 MPa;

- for VPPU model - 150 MPa.

Wires shall be resistant to the effect of high temperature:

- for VPV model - up to +65°С

- for VPP, VPPU models - up to +80°С

Wires shall be resistant to the effect of high temperatureup to -40°С

Sheath ultimate tensile strength is not less than 12.50 MPa.

Wiring shall be performed at ambient temperature not lower than -15°С(VPV model) and -15°С (VPP, VPPU model) withbend radius not less than ten wire diameters.

Operational life for VPP, VPV models - not less than 6 years; for VPPU model- not less than 3 years.
